Alejandro Young

Alejandro Young is the President & CEO of Young & Associates, LLC, a boutique tax and accounting firm which specializes in global tax services for US expatriates, foreign nationals, international students, and high-net worth individuals.  He regularly works with US expatriates and foreign nationals to help minimize their overall tax burden.  Prior to launching his own firm in 2014, Alejandro worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers, KPMG, and lastly at McGladrey where he helped lead a team of professionals in the International Tax group.  His experience also includes tax work for corporations, partnerships, and exempt organizations.  As a former tax professional with large accounting firms, he has more than 20 years of experience in the tax and accounting arenas.  

Some of the experience that Alejandro possesses, which are also services offered through his firm, are cost projections, international payroll, US Residency Certificates, treaty based tax returns, Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) applications, and tax return preparation and planning.   All of these services aim at adding value to a client’s existing strategies and goals.  His client list includes the University of Chicago, Roosevelt University, small foreign corporations with employees in the US, and individual expatriates across the globe.  He has a network of clients and resources which extends through more than 12 countries throughout the world.  

Alejandro holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree with a concentration in Accounting from Robert Morris University.  He is also an Enrolled Agent, which is the highest form of certification awarded by the IRS.  Alejandro is a valued speaker on US tax issues for students, scholars, trainees, and other foreign nationals and presents to local universities and foreign consulates educating their communities on these topics.  He also is conversational in Spanish and is able to conduct business in the language.
